Short description:
The programme focuses on special bioanalytical instruments, biometry, data management and the design of clinical trials. With its holistic systems biology approach, the programme meets the increasing need for highly qualified professionals in the health sector, e.g. in health care, consumer protection or the treatment of environmental risks. In pace with progress in applied bioanalysis the programme opens up a wide range of responsible careers for its graduates, e.g. in medical and biopharmaceutical research, the natural sciences or in companies carrying out projects in the field of environmental and bioanalytics.
Study focus:
The programme offers two concentrations for individual project-oriented work: the elective module “Bioanalytics” focuses on molecular diagnostics and nanotechnology, while “Clinical Trials” has a special focus on design, organisation and management. In-depth knowledge of bioanalytical methods is complemented by quality management and subject-specific English.

Bachelor degree programme in Biomedical Science; academy degree in Biomedical Science and university entrance qualification; completion of training in chemical engineering with at least two years of relevant professional experience; equivalent degree
