Short description:

It takes a wide range of skills to be successful as a business informatics specialist. UAS Technikum Wien’s Business Informatics degree program gives students the necessary skills and offers graduates lots of exciting career opportunities. The degree program challenges students with a demanding combination of computer science, business administration and management skills. Compared to traditional computer science programs, the Business Informatics program gives students specialized knowledge in a much wider range of subjects. In the latter semesters, students can choose from a number of different specialization areas (knowledge management, service industries, industry and commerce, etc.).

Business informatics subjects (information systems, business process management, data warehousing, IT market, knowledge management, case studies), Technical focus (Web technologies, software engineering, databases, operating systems, computer architectures, telecommunications, multimedia, network engineering, safety engineering, mobile computing), Business and management (project management, business administration, business management, business law, marketing), Languages (creative English, business English, technical English), Personal development (team training, leadership, presentation techniques, negotiation and sales techniques, problem-solving strategies, motivational training, organization development)
