Short description:

Work Design primarily aims at adapting work to people. Working systems facilitate the accomplishment of work tasks. In this process, people and resources operate together at a certain workplace in a certain working environment. HR management as the next step in personnel management aims at reinforcing "soft" success factors such as leadership quality, organisational dynamics, and high-potential staff development.
