Job-oriented Studies

Researching and working together on a European level based on cooperation between Universities of Applied Sciences and business and industry.

Studies at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences are characterised above all by their close contact to industry and business. During their studies, students complete a minimum of one work placement at home or abroad. In so doing, they come into contact with the working world even before graduation. This facilitates the job search and the subsequent entry into the professional world immensely. However, thanks to the numerous part-time study programmes, the Universities of Applied Sciences hold fast to the principle of life-long learning. By doing so, they become partners of employers and can transmit knowledge that can be practically applied. The close connection between studies and work also grants graduates above-average starting salaries as they can be integrated into the working process quickly.
