Business Consultancy International

Business Consultancy International (BCi) is a high quality and challenging business-studies degree programme taught entirely in English. The six-semester, full-time bachelor programme provides a particularly stimulating environment in which students from many different nations and cultural backgrounds work together with an international faculty. Students gain a solid foundation in a wide range of management as well as consultancy skills. They are encouraged to study one semester abroad at one of our partner universities around the world. Business Consultancy International provides a considerable advantage when beginning one’s career, particularly in the business management and consultancy professions. Students will be able to fulfill requirements of the business community by means of perfect communication skills in English, intercultural understanding and experience, global business know-how and knowledge of universal standards.

Study focus

During the first three semesters of the BCi bachelor programme you will have various courses introducing the fundamentals of business management and economics to you: among others, these courses comprise Fundamentals of Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting, Principles of Corporate Finance, Principles of Marketing and Sales, Micro- and Macroeconomics, Contract Law and European Law, Business Software Systems as well as courses intending to improve students' soft skills, like Personal Skills Assessment and Team Organisation.

In the 3rd semester students have the option to apply for an exchange semester at one of our 95 partner universities scattered all around the globe. Students who can take that opportunity are exempted from the adademic programme in Wiener Neustadt for the 3rd semester.

In the 4th semester students are required to choose one of 3 fields of specialisation:

•International Accounting & Finance

•International Marketing & Sales

•International Human Resources & Management

In the 6th, and final, semester the main activity is an internship in a company approved  by the university, either in Austria or abroad. The duration of this internship is at least 20 weeks.

Tuition fees: Tuition Fee: €363.36 per semester, plus the mandatory fee for the Austrian National Union of Students (Österreichische Hochschülerschaft, ÖH), which currently amounts to € 19,20 per semester.
