The Bachelor's degree program "Architecture" is a training centre for building culture in rural areas and focuses specifically on teaching design and construction planning skills. Through the interaction of architecture and engineering competence, graduates are well prepared for the challenges of the architectural profession on both the design and technical levels. Solution-oriented learning, workshops and complex project work promote initiative and independent work. Students acquire skills in the areas of presentation and design, drafting, structural engineering planning and construction management.

In addition to the sustainable planning and implementation of new buildings, students also deal with the sustainable renovation of old buildings. In addition, special attention is given to the topics of regionality and social building. Excursions on architectural topics and cooperation with universities are fixed points of the course. A special feature is the place of study: The "Spittl" in Spittal an der Drau impresses with an extraordinary and inspiring atmosphere.
