It is impossible nowadays to imagine any part of life without embedded systems. Entertainment devices (LCD TVs, MP3 players, cell phones, …), automotive technology (anti-lock braking system, GPS route planner, intelligent parking distance control systems, …), medical technology, household appliances – they all consist of electronic modules and systems. In the specialist field of embedded electronics the focus is on the design, development, implementation, testing and initial operation of analog and digital systems.
