Speech therapy - more than just speaking
In the speech therapy programme, students acquire a wide range of subject-specific competences, methodological competences and also interprofessional competences as well as social-communicative skills. In addition to the extensive theoretical content, theory-practice transfer is already implemented in the courses so that students can continuously develop the skills they need from the beginning of their studies.
Speak, hear and understand language with voice
Introductory basic lectures in the areas of anatomy and physiology as well as linguistics form the basis on which more advanced topics are built. These include audiology, phoniatrics, neurology and numerous logopaedics-specific and scientific courses. Equipped with these competences, students have the opportunity to deepen their already acquired skills in practice: in the SkillsLabs of the speech therapy degree programme, which are unique in Austria.
The Bachelor of Science degree program is offered in German language.
Therefore the certificate of Language Competency Evaluation German C1 is required.
