Mechanical engineers are involved in product development and construction. They model and simulate mechanical structures and optimise product processes.

Mechanical engineering is a diverse field that is the foundation for designing structures for devices, equipment and systems without which modern life would be unthinkable. The core areas of the mechanical engineering programme will help students learn to develop and construct these elements and efficiently put them to use. This broad foundation in the field can be applied anywhere, from solar panels, tools, motors or home technologies. As a result, graduate of this programme have flexible competencies, opening doors to a wide range of professional and career opportunities in diverse sectors.
