Sustainable combination of biotechnology and environmental technology
The Bio-and Environmental Technology Master’s degree programme offers students the opportunity to specialise in either biotechnology or environmental science. Central to this degree programme are environmental process engineering and biotechnology, plant planning and plant engineering with (bio-)analytics, the technology of food production and quality management. ’Soft skills‘ such as language skills, personality, academic and business economics competences enable a smooth transition into work. Independent of their chosen specialisation all graduates gain a common understanding of both of the core technologies our future depends on.
A career must offer quality of life, an exciting environment and opportunities for further development. A Master's in Bio- and Environmental Engineering fulfills these criteria: The career start often begins as a project employee in the planning of large industrial plants and continues as a person responsible for a sub-area of construction before managing projects themselves. Or you start as an analyst in drug production before managing individual production steps. With the know-how you have acquired, you can then lead a research group to develop new drugs. A career like this fulfills everyone's dream of a high quality of life, an exciting working environment and professional development.
