The Bachelor Degree Programme in Business Informatics focuses primarily on technical activities and practice-oriented training of specialists at the interface between information technology and business. The programme covers general scientific and specific technical topics in various technological areas (such as internet technologies and software engineering), applied business administration skills (paying particular attention to marketing and sales) and social skills. Strong emphasis is put on cross-linking different technologies and the understanding of relationships, whilst always taking into account economic considerations, notably in the field of electronic business processes.
