The Master’s study programme Civil Engineering in Building Construction offers a comprehensive post-graduate degree in the field of civil engineering with a focus on building construction. In addition to an extensive, in-depth education in construction engineering, students may choose elective subjects from two different course pools. Together this enables graduates of this programme to hold management positions upon completion of their studies.

With the two elective subject groups "Intelligent Load-bearing Systems" and "Integral Building Technologies", students can specialize individually in the second and third semesters of their studies. Graduates will work in companies in the construction industry, the construction sector, the building trade, the construction supply industry or in research institutes, engineering, architecture and civil engineering offices. The path to self-employment (e.g. as an expert) is just as open to graduates as working in public administration or with building supervisory authorities and public clients.
