The Electrical Engineering Dual Bachelor programme combines course work at the FH Vorarlberg and practical work experience with a company; thus, both the University and the company will form the basis for your education.

In the Electrical Engineering Dual Bachelor programme, in addition to acquiring thorough basic technical and scientific background knowledge, students develop primary technical skills in the fields of:

  • electrical engineering (from electrical phenomena to current and voltage, as well as plant engineering or energy technology),
  • electronic engineering (from functionalities of components and circuit technology device design),
  • informatics (starting with basic programming to communication and software engineering).

These subject areas will be complemented with topics in business administration and development of scientific skills.

Career perspectives after completion of the programme are varied, ranging from automation technology and energy and environmental technology to aerospace technology and medical engineering. 

Entry requirements

General university entrance qualification or a subject-relevant professional qualification with additional examinations.
