The Master Degree Programme in Information Technologies and Business Informatics aims at expanding knowledge acquired previously during relevant bachelor or diploma programmes. The programme focuses on business systems engineering, information technology, IT management, sales and service engineering. Graduates of this Master Degree Programme will have enhanced scientific and technical skills and will be well prepared for future tasks at management level. The three specific technical fields covered are: IT management, IT (sales) consulting and IT entrepreneurship. As such, students learn about strategic IT management, change management, technical sales and distribution, innovation and technology management, and cover modules on the systematic setting up of an IT company. Mobile computing und mobile commerce, smart card systems and RFID, strategic IT Management, Sales and Service Engineering, Innovation and technology management in IT, business planning and budgeting, technical sales management, sales techniques, IT law, ERP systems, E-collaboration, process management and organisational development Industry-based individual and team projects.

Entry requirements

Admission requirements for the master’s degree in Information Technologies & Business Informatics is a completed relevant bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution.

The two-stage system of academic training thus also opens up the opportunity for graduates from other fields of study and other domestic and foreign universities to enter the master's program at CAMPUS 02.
