On this Master’s programme, you will take an interdisciplinary approach to the challenges of digitalisation across the fields of IT, law and management: from data protection and IT compliance, through management and sustainability, to pressing issues such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybercrime and cybersecurity.
IT Law
You will develop specialist knowledge in the areas of data protection and telecommunications law, IT standards, intellectual property rights, AI law and product safety law. The programme also focuses on the challenges of digital and virtual working environments, cybercrime, social media law and the drafting of IT contracts.
Management
You will receive in-depth training to take on leadership and management roles. You will specialise in strategy development and leadership, digital and hybrid business models, and entrepreneurship. This specialisation is rounded off by the acquisition of comprehensive skills in the areas of organisation, controlling, reporting and CSRD, as well as IT governance and quality and risk management.
IT and Artificial Intelligence
The rapid development of business analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning is a key component in the analysis of business data and future corporate developments. The responsible and secure handling of sensitive data is essential in our digitally connected world. These areas – along with issues relating to cybersecurity – are therefore firmly embedded in the curriculum.
Master’s Thesis
You will begin to deepen your knowledge from the second semester onwards as part of a ‘cumulative’ Master’s thesis.
