Today, virtually every technical product incorporates mechatronic systems – even everyday products contain both mechanical components and electronic parts that are controlled by software. This programme teaches students how to link the disciplines of mechanics, electronics and informatics.

Mechatronic systems are becoming ever more compact and smaller. They are penetrating the field of micromechanics and finding increased use in every aspect of life.

Graduates of the Mechatronics programme are ideally prepared for developing, constructing and optimising technical products used throughout our day-to-day lives. This programme combines the fields of mechanics, electronics and informatics to open doors to a wide range of professional fields, optimising career opportunities.

Entry requirements

General university entrance qualification or a subject-relevant professional qualification with additional examinations and a professional experience for at least two years.
