Modern software development requires a wide range of skills. In addition to technical programming skills and an understanding of the requirements of modern media, management expertise is playing an increasing role. The two semester Multimedia and Software Engineering master’s degree program places particular emphasis on organizational management and the development and implementation of complex software projects. Software usability, quality assurance, computer graphics and methods for working with video and audio data are other key aspects of the program.
