A pool of knowledge creates innovation—the FH Campus Vienna is well-networked with businesses and public institutions. It collaborates with numerous universities and the Vienna Krankenanstaltenverbund (Association of Medical Institutions) in the development and implementation of programs of study. Students profit from its high teaching level and extensive experience. All the same, its independence guarantees the special quality of education—for this reason, a nonprofit institution is the supporting organization behind the FH Campus Vienna.
FH Campus Vienna has plenty to offer
With over 8,000 students, the FH Campus Wien is the largest university of applied sciences in Austria. In departments Applied Nursing Science, Applied Life Sciences, Building and Design, Health Sciences, Social Work, Engineering as well as Administration, Economics, Security, Politics, offer a choice of more than 60 Bachelor’s and Master ‘s degree programs as well as master courses in part-time and full-time form. The FH Campus Wien has five locations in Vienna and six further cooperative study locations: the Vinzentinum location Vienna as well as the schools for general health and nursing sciences of the Vienna Health Group Campus Donaustadt, Campus Favoriten and Campus Floridotower and the Nursing Academy of the Barmherzige Brüder. Training cooperations exist with the Vienna Health Group, the Fonds Soziales Wien, the Vinzenz Group, the Nursing Academy of the Barmherzige Brüder, the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport and the Federal Ministry of Finance. The large network of the FH Campus Wien includes around 150 Austrian and foreign universities and colleges as well as industrial companies, businesses, associations, public institutions and schools. R&D projects of the degree programs and external contract research are currently handled by nine subject-specific competence centres. Moreover, recognised certifications are evidence of the high standards of quality management at the FH Campus Wien. The Campus Wien Academy of the University of Applied Sciences offers continuing education and training in the form of seminars, modules and certificate programs.

The new FH building complex, which opened its doors in autumn 2009, offers network and electronic laboratories, biomedical labs with high-level security, a social laboratory with one-way mirror, as well as a physiotherapy movement lab.
