HOK | University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol serves 2.400 students and offers innovative programs in business administration and technical management for future-oriented careers. The program portfolio comprises 14 bachelor's and 14 master's degree programs, along with postgraduate and continuing education offerings.

Internationality and practical relevance form the two central pillars of Kufstein University's educational philosophy. Students enrolled in full-time bachelor's programs complete a semester abroad at one of more than 250 partner universities over the course of their studies. In part-time programs and full-time master's programs, supervised study trips provide international exposure. Several programs are offered entirely in English, and all fields of study include select English-language courses.

Faculty with international professional experience, practice-oriented projects conducted in cooperation with regional companies, and a mandatory professional internship connect theory with practice. Small class sizes further enable intensive, personalized mentoring and create ideal conditions for a successful career start.

Campus Life at HOK | University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol

Studying in the heart of Kufstein: four modern building complexes surrounding the city park form a vibrant campus with short distances between facilities. In addition to lecture halls, students have access to specialized laboratories, a library, a cafeteria, an event hall, and an on-site sports facility. Support for organizational matters, study-abroad planning and career entry is also available directly on campus through Study Management, the International Relations Office and Alumni & Career Services.

Kufstein: A University Town

Kufstein combines urban living with alpine quality of life. As Tyrol's second-largest city, it is centrally located between Innsbruck and Munich and has a population of approximately 19.500. Students at HOK | University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, together with around 200 international exchange students each year, contribute to a young, international, and vibrant city atmosphere.

Much of daily life is conveniently accessible on foot or by bicycle, including student residences and shared apartments as well as shops, government offices, medical practices, restaurants and cultural and recreational venues. A well-developed public transportation network serves longer distances.

Kufstein also offers excellent connections beyond city limits: Innsbruck, Munich and Salzburg can all be reached by train or car in about an hour, making the city an ideal base for day trips, weekend getaways and a wide range of leisure activities.
