Automation technology connects different specialist areas and technologies, giving the bachelor's degree programme a highly interdisciplinary approach to technical and operative activities. Besides technical competences in core areas, automation technology students also acquire essential practice-relevant communication, social and methodological skills. Specialist elective modules are of particular importance, because they represent the technical diversity of the field and offer students the opportunity to tailor their course profile. Independent, practice-oriented team work on specialist topics plays a key role in the process. To complement the qualification profile, students acquire English language skills and learn economic basics.
