The Master's programme focuses on sustainable mobility and innovative concepts in vehicle technology. As an engineer of tomorrow, you will drive innovation and development in the vehicle industry with engineering expertise and management know-how.

Innovation. Vehicle technology.
You will deepen your knowledge in model development and simulation, engine development or process and product management. In order to create innovations in automotive engineering, you will focus in particular on the environmentally friendly, resource-efficient and customer-friendly design of new products.

Complete vehicle. Leadership.
You will familiarise yourself with the phases of the product development cycle - from design, testing and trials through to production, sales and quality assurance. You will also learn to manage organisational units and to identify and implement development trends.

Project. Racing car technology.
The application-oriented and international ‘Formula Student’ project is an integral part of the degree programme. Here you have the opportunity to research the racing car technology of tomorrow and realise a competitive racing car as part of a team.

Electives. Internship. Master's thesis.
In electives in the 2nd and 3rd semesters, you specialise in your area of interest. Your
knowledge in the work placement and Master's thesis. A semester at one of our partner universities abroad is also possible.

Entry requirements

Completion of bachelor or diploma degree programme with at least 180 ECTS in the areas of mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
