The master degree programme in Automotive Engineering at FH JOANNEUM is unique in Austria. The four specialisations cover all the relevant areas of automotive engineering, while a range of electives allows students to tailor their studies to their fields of interest. The close link between theory and practice and the well-balanced mix of technical, economic and interdisciplinary subjects provide for an attractive and future-oriented course of studies.

The master degree programme focuses on the topics of sustainable mobility and innovative concepts of automotive engineering. Students have the opportunity to participate in exciting projects such as “Formula Student“ or “Eco-Master“ and gather valuable experience in work placements at companies and research institutions.

Entry requirements

Completion of bachelor or diploma degree programme with at least 180 ECTS in the areas of mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
