In an age of rapidly changing global markets, prospective managers are constantly facing new challenges. The English-language Tourism and Leisure Management bachelor programme provides you with the tools to succeed locally and internationally in this environment. The programme is offered full-time and part-time. Graduates are qualified to assume positions in a wide range of professional areas and departments in the tourism and leisure industry all over the world.

What to expect from the degree programme

In the programme’s first 4 semesters, you'll mainly cover the basics of business administration. You'll also focus on language skills and cutting-edge information and communications technology (ICT).

The Tourism and Leisure Management programme has a strong international focus. In semester 3 you have the option of taking a semester abroad and in semester 4 you have to work for at least 22 weeks at a company of your choice abroad. In the final two semesters you’ll delve into more detail, learning more about various aspects of tourism: from event management to sustainable tourism to sports, cultural and health tourism. This is the perfect opportunity for you to discover your interests, contribute new ideas and implement projects.

Tip!

A particularly attractive option is the dual degree we offer together with the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland and the KEDGE Business School – Campus Bordeaux in France. Besides obtaining a bachelor of arts at IMC Krems, you will also be accredited with a degree from our partner institution.
