In this co-op master course you will gain a deeper insight into engineering science and management and develop solutions to complex problems both as a member of an interdisciplinary team on the programme and as an employee of your training company. The course provides interdisciplinary education covering production relevant issues in the fields of mechanical, process and automation engineering, comprehensive management skills and internationalisation. The focus is on environmental, economic and social sustainability.

The third semester with two modules in Sustainable Production Engineering and International Industrial Engineering will be taught in English and will mainly involve interdisciplinary projects. The course includes seminars on the management of research projects and the establishment of research collaborations along with periods of study abroad and cooperation projects with international universities.

Entry requirements

Completion of the bachelor programme in Production Technology and Organisation at FH JOANNEUM or equivalent relevant bachelor degree. Evidence of at least 15 months of relevant practice.
