Information fundamentally defines our lives, our work and the economy. On the Information Design degree programme, we train designers who think critically and tackle the cultural, ecological and social challenges of our time. With the help of design tools, they redesign environments and processes as well as ways of thinking and acting for a rapidly changing world.

From the 4th semester onwards, you can choose between the specialisations ‘Communication Design’, ‘Media Design’ and ‘Interaction Design’ and specialise in one of the many disciplines of information design. The professional internship in the 6th semester can be completed in Germany or abroad. A semester abroad at one of our more than 80 partner universities is also possible.
