The joint Master's programme in Personalised Technical Medicine (PTM), offered by the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria, the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, and Johannes Kepler University Linz, trains specialists who are able to integrate advanced technologies and personalised medical approaches into clinical practice. The programme enables students to develop and implement innovative healthcare solutions based on the biological, genetic, and clinical characteristics of individual patients.

Details about the PTM degree programme

The focus is on the introduction and application of innovative technologies in healthcare – from hospitals and research institutions to home care. Students acquire interdisciplinary knowledge in medical-technical systems, imaging and monitoring, computer-aided diagnostics, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence, as well as in the ethical and legal aspects of personalised medicine.These skills are complemented by a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, physics, and medicine.

A relevant bachelor’s or diploma degree comprising at least 180 ECTS credits
