The curriculum focuses on power and industrial electronics as they are applied in railway technology, power generation, transmission and distribution, or even power adaptors for small electronic devices. The core topics of the program are alternative energy systems, power electronics, drive technology and electrical power supply, as

well as control electronics and process automation. Specialist areas from these fields, such as power electronics, control engineering, control and measurement technology, field buses, circuit design, electromagnetic compatibility, signal processors, sensors

and actuators are covered in separate lectures and practice-oriented projects.

Technical topics such as power electronics, control engineering and control and measurement technology, Law and management, Languages and personal development (business and technical English, intercultural communication, leadership)

Entry requirements

In order to enroll in this degree program, students must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field of study from a university or university of applied sciences.
