19 places are available per specialization.

Your Individual Education Plan

Together with experts, you compile your individual education plan to combine your professional aspirations with your field of studies as part of the courses ”Disziplinäre Praxis“ and “Mentoring“. The objective is to expand your individual profile and acquire additional specific competencies, e.g. through internships, job shadowing, optional subjects, study trips or (inter-) national symposia.

Master Thesis

During your master studies, you write your thesis in collaboration with a research team and a project at the Ilse Arlt Institute for Social Inclusion Research. This ensures close supervision, mutual support and a timely completion of your studies.

With a degree you are qualified to work in all areas of social work. You are especially well-prepared for advisory, organisational and management responsibilities in the social and healthcare services sector, including project planning and evaluation.
