With the Master's programme, we pursue the goal of training engineers to independently develop, assess and implement solutions in the field of sustainable energy systems. This is the right degree programme for you if you want to help shape this promising field.

Potential employers are all companies and organisations in the private and public sector that deal with the integration of sustainable energy sources in energy supply and optimisations in the field of energy efficiency, such as energy suppliers, operators of energy technology plants, energy agencies and NGOs, research and development companies, plant manufacturers for renewable energy projects, etc.

Entry requirements

The technical admission requirement for studying on the Master's degree programme "Sustainable Energy Systems" at a university of applied sciences is the completion of at least 6 semesters of technical or natural science studies at a university of applied sciences or university or the completion of at least 6 semesters of studies at an educational academy, whereby knowledge had to be acquired as part of the studies that is necessary for the basic technical understanding, which is a prerequisite for the Master's degree programme "Sustainable Energy Systems" (such as mathematics, biology and environmental studies or physics and chemistry).

The entrance requirements can also be fulfilled by completing an equivalent degree at a recognised domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution.
