Health care is unthinkable without perfect interaction between many technical systems. Health institutions therefore always need experts to design technical systems, control their operation and especially to guarantee their safety. The comprehensive degree program will qualify you as a hospital technician. You will coordinate and optimize technical projects and process flows specifically in health care, thereby significantly contributing to its flawless operation.

What we offer you

We offer you an interdisciplinary degree program which spans two areas of growth - technology and health - perfectly preparing you for the practical world. Laboratory work offers you numerous opportunities of familiarizing yourself with the demands of your future career and of practicing concrete tasks. Interdisciplinary projects are part of our university's research strategy. As a student, you are part of the force driving interdisciplinary research where technology and health are overlapping. This in turn is useful in practice, helping you build on your acquired and scientifically assured knowledge in the field.

A range of interesting companies and cooperation partners are represented at our "Firmentag Technik" (Company day Technology) at the main FH Campus Wien. Utilize your time between courses to establish contacts for your professional career and to enter into discussions with potential employers. We will support you towards realizing your ideas for exciting projects and offer you a stage: We exhibit the best projects to a wide audience in our Campus Innovation Lab at Open House or at the BeSt trade fair.
