Our full-time bachelor's degree program in Drone Engineering & AI-based Innovation provides comprehensive training in drone design, control, programming, and data analysis. Become a pioneer in the drone industry! All courses are taught 100% in English.

The degree program provides comprehensive knowledge of drone technology and its applications. It focuses on drone design, propulsion systems, and electronic subsystems grounded on the fundamentals of aeronautics and aerodynamics. Software and programming modules enable students to control drones and autonomous uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS). Sensor technology and data analysis allow for meaningful use of the collected data. Legal and safety issues complete the curriculum. English as the language of instruction, additional foreign languages, a semester abroad, and an internship, provide international experience. Management skills and entrepreneurial thinking enhance career opportunities in the global marketplace.

Entry requirements

Applicants must fulfill at least one of the following criteria:
- General higher education entrance qualification
- Respective Certificate of General Educational Development
- Vocational Matriculation Examination
- School leaving certificate of (at least) a three-year vocational high school or certificate of a dual education system (specified apprenticeship) including additional exams within the first semester in the subjects mathematics, German and English.
- A German qualification to study at universities of applied sciences (deutsche Fachhochschulreife) relevant to the degree program including additional exams within the first semester in the subjects mathematics, German and English.
- Practical work experience is an advantage

Admission procedure:
Admissions Interview, either online via MS Teams or on site at the campus in Kufstein. Weighting: 90% admissions interview, 10% professional experience.
