The programme is a collaboration between HTW Berlin and UAS BFI Vienna, two of the most prestigious business-focused universities of applied sciences in the German-speaking countries. Graduates receive a degree from both universities.

Focus on economics and politics

Economics and politics form the basis of this international programme, which has a special emphasis on European integration. The course will give you practical knowledge of EU institutions, stakeholders and processes. This know-how lays the foundations for analysing and evaluating current and future economic-policy challenges such as climate change, globalisation and social inequality, as well as trends that will shape the future, including digitalisation, the changing world of work and diversity.

Two universities - one joint programme

The modern curriculum with an integrated semester abroad was jointly developed by two universities in the capitals of the EU member states Germany and Austria. As part of the curriculum, students from the UAS BFI Vienna spend a full semester at HTW Berlin and vice versa. This innovative structure of the degree programme allows them to gain intercultural experience during their studies and to expand their international network through exchanges with lecturers and students from the other university. Graduates receive a degree from both universities (joint degree).
