The master's degree programme builds on the bachelor programme High-Tech Manufacturing – with the aim of expanding your knowledge of product lifecycle management through the examination of current technological developments. During your studies, you will acquire specialised technical expertise in the field of Rapid Manufacturing for the strategic implementation in your professional life. With in-depth knowledge about the production and manufacturing technology as well as your advanced leadership skills you will be fully prepared to work in middle management as well as in research and development.

Based on your professional experience in technical production facilities, the master's degree programme will deepen and expand your skills in manufacturing engineering, production logistics and control as well as in the core areas of quality management. You learn about: different manufacturing processes and their physically active principles, difining custom criteria for production processes and implementing them, rapid product development, reverse engineering, rapid-prototyping and rapid tooling, material flow in manufacturing companies, supply chain conceptioning, production planning and control - based on production process and production types, decision-making skills in product development and design, quality assurance,...

Entry requirements

• A Bachelor degree or diploma certificate from an institute of higher education with a total of 180 ECTS credits. Of these, at least 55 ECTS credits must be apportioned to the following areas: ECTS In the following areas:
1. 35 ECTS - Mechanical engineering, manufacturing/production/process engineering and other science subjects
2. 2,5 ECTS - Economic and legal competency
3. 2,5 ECTS - Management and personal development
• The High Tech Manufacturing Bachelor degree program offered at FH Campus Wien satisfies admission requirements.
• German Language Level: B2
