The Austrian economy thrives on exports and relations with other countries. In this context, the connection to Eastern and South-Eastern Europe plays an important role not only for historical but also for economic reasons. The degree programme "International Economic Relations" already set this focus more than 25 years ago - with lasting success. In addition to well-founded business knowledge and subject-specific know-how, graduates have valuable communicative and intercultural skills in a specialisation, which open up career opportunities for them in an international context. Graduates work in various sectors and fields of activity in the Austrian and international economy.
The degree programme International Economic Relations can be studied full-time or part-time. For the part-time study programme, you already bring several years of work experience to the study programme. Full-time students, on the other hand, have few professional obligations; they gain international experience in summer courses and professional internships in Central and Eastern Europe. Some also complete a semester abroad at a partner university - all within the framework of the curriculum without losing a semester.
