The German-language part-time Management master degree programme prepares you for the next step in your career, at home or abroad. The programme gives you the tools you need to take on middle or senior managerial responsibilities in various sectors. You can choose one of 5 electives and tailor the degree in line with your requirements.

What to expect from the master programme

  • The part-time Management programme gives you a clear overview of the process landscapes of companies and organisations. It aims to enable you to plan, implement and manage processes in the long run, based on the process landscape.
  • What subject do you want to concentrate on? Human resources (HR)? Management control? Setting up and taking over small and medium-sized enterprises? Big data and digitalisation in health care? Or perhaps management and organisation in the health sector? The programme allows you to adapt your focus areas to your personal needs.
  • The Systematic Leadership and Corporate Communication course in semester 4 brings together subjects covered in the preceding semesters. The final semester is centred on the master thesis, for which you also receive research coaching.

Choose one of 5 electives!

  • Big Data & Digitalization in Health Care
  • Controlling
  • Setting Up and Taking Over Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
  • Management and Organisation in the Health Sector
  • Human Resource Management

In semester 4, most of the time you spend in Krems will be devoted to block courses. This means you can take the next step up the career ladder or alternatively spend time at one of our partner universities abroad. A dual degree at the University of Applied Sciences Deggendorf is a particularly attractive option.

Career paths

As a graduate of the Management master programme, you have the choice of pursuing a career in general management or becoming an expert, for instance in controlling or HR management. The Setting Up and Taking Over Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises elective is the ideal preparation for starting your own company or taking control of an existing one.

Entry requirements

To qualify for a master programme, you must have completed a bachelor degree – with a workload of minimum 180 ECTS and lasting at least six semesters – in a related subject or hold an equivalent degree from a recognised Austrian or foreign higher education institution.
