People, groups and communities, with all their characteristics and peculiarities, problems and conflicts, are the focus of the Bachelor's degree programme in Social Work at FH Vorarlberg. The part-time study programme consists of seven semesters (professional activity is not compulsory) and is ideal for students not able to manage full-time studies. The course work provides a foundation that is broad enough to provide all the skills required for the diverse job market in the field of social work.
The close link between theory and practice forms the basis for the entire programme. In both internships and at work placements, students gain their first career experience in the field of social work. Graduates are qualified to assume responsibilities in social work in all traditional fields of the subject.
