Study Child and Adolescent Care, Academic Expert Program part-time
Children and adolescents are a particularly vulnerable group of people with an increased need for protection and special care requirements. In addition to taking these requirements into consideration when dealing with young people, the creation of a sustainable basis in nursing work with families is an essential building block. The academic expert program is therefore based on the nursing concept of family-oriented care. Nurses in the higher service for health care and nursing who work or aspire to work in the special field of children and adolescents must complete a specialization in accordance with GuKG §17. In addition, the program in continuing education offers the opportunity to expand and consolidate knowledge of nursing science.
