Study Midwifery, bachelor's full-time

Every pregnancy is unique. Much is based on science and technology, but what matters most is the personal care that is offered by midwives. They accompany women and families during pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period and the breastfeeding period. The midwife monitors and provides advice regarding care, nutrition, hygiene and checkups. They detect the first signs when something is not as it should be. In this degree program you will be trained to practice clinical midwifery as well as the increasingly important field of health counseling.

What we offer you

Hochschule Campus Wien is characterised by extensive expertise and a large network. Hochschule Campus Wien is the only university of applied sciences in Austria to train all seven legally regulated upper-level medical-therapeutic-diagnostic health professions as well as midwifery. An important partner in the areas of education, research and development is the Vienna Healthcare Association. You will benefit from the state-of-the-art infrastructure of our attractive main campus. One of the function rooms is set up like a delivery room, equipped with a birthing stool and hospital bed that can be converted into a gynecological chair. An incubator is also available for practicing, equally important is the professional community. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to join a professional community across disciplines.
